Big Apple Airchecks Matt Seinberg New York TradersCourtesy of Big Apple Airchecks, here’s Chuck Leonard (WABC, WQEW)and a reasonably short scope (just a few breaks) of Mr. Leonard and a lot of historically significant advertisements. The imaging isn’t over the top here, but the music was certainly edgy for its time.

If you remember 98.7 Kiss (they DON’T call it Kiss-FM here) from its heyday, this aircheck is for you!

Gee, how long were the stop sets?

    • Pretty long . You know, I only leave them in because its interesting to see what prices things went for and what concert info there is. There’s not much left of many of these airchecks if I take them out – the music is already ‘scoped out. But, yes, it gets a bit monotonous at times trying to listen.
