This is from 75. The same aircheck is posted as August 75′ but the sound quality on this one is better. Maybe replace the 75′ aircheck posting with this one. As a WLS listener from the Ozarks, I appreciate the better sound quality. I was only able to listen at night which made Landecker, Steve King and Yvonne Daniels my favorite jocks. Thanks to this site, I am appreciating Fred Winston, Larry Lujack, Tommy Edwards and Bob Sirott now.

You guys HAVE to post some of the other Landecker checks from this era. There are some on the pay for play sites…bring ‘em over here! I miss hearing Landecker on ZZN in Chicago (where Greg Brown is on now, and Dick Biondi does nights). They should have never let him go, but it’s great hearing him on the weekends on the syndicated “Into the Seventies”. MORE LANDECKER, please!

I loved the Landecker aircheck. I wish it was longer. Landecker has always been one of my favorites. . .since my rearing days of hometown Chicago.

Records truly is his middle name is on the air at WZZN 94.7 Chicagos True Oldies Station doing 3-7pm and sounding better than ever. Dick Biondi follows him at 9pm and a few weeks back Fred Winston was filling in for Scott Mac Kay in the morning, possible audition for future mid day slot that syndicated Scott Shannon holds now ???? Who knows.almost a WLS mid seventies line up !! Landecker is and was great Ive got many airchecks from his days at WLS various shifts, WAGO, WLUP, WJMK . A legend for sure.
