Ever been to the Coastal Bend area of South Texas? Corpus Christi/Aransas County area. Just as I was moving out of the area, I had some time on my hands and recorded this tape of various radio stations in the region.
This really has some interesting material. It starts with the afternoon show on KTSA San Antonio, then moves on through a number of stations including KRYS K-99, and more. Also included about 2/3rds of the way through is a BBC program I recorded from shortwave called “Just A Minute”. It was a hilarious British game show. I think you’ll enjoy this tape, that I thought I recorded over several years ago.

I might call Corpus Christi south Texas but Houston would be East Texas. True South Texas would be San Antonio and south.
Texans can get personal about that stuff, but I am not a Texan.

…I’m just PLAYING here! This cold yankee would just LOVE to be in Texas right now. And, truthfully, I’d put up with South Texans getting picky with me in exchange for a vacation in Rockport where I used to live. They were the NICEST people!
