Super CKGM! This is from the station’s heyday in the mid-70s. It’s not my good friend Marc Denis (I need to find his archived aircheck), but this is a good representation of how the station sounded. Great Jingles (used predominantly in the RKO chain in the states) and hot music.

I grew up listening to Montreal radio. CKGM had a great line up in the early to mid 70’s. This was the period of time when they finally surpassed CFOX as the #1 top 40 station in the Montreal market
