Part 2 of the Dan Taylor weekend Time Machine on WNBC. Listening to this again, I’m struck just how so close a recreation to WABC this was. And remember, it ran every weekend for almost 2 years, despite WNBC being a news talk station during most of that time… before news/talk was a huge format.
As you listen to this, remember that it was the very last live AM music show in New York City at this time. Since WNBC expired, there hasn’t been another one, unless you count the Standards formats on WNEW and WQEW.

Excellent recreation of the 60’s format so many of us still cherish. Today we lost another 60’s station WSAI AM1530 to new/talk. The 60’s format, the jocks & the Pams jingles will forever remain timeless…
