Description by contributor John Hendricks:
In 1983 PD Don Cannon took the AM daytimer to an “all Beatles & Motown” format as “Philly 15″, alternating songs between the two genres of oldies he said were found to be the most popular oldies in Philadelphia. The short-lived format was really only on weekday middays and afternoons; Cannon’s morning show was simulcast from adult contemporary sister WSNI-FM, as were weekends.

Where’s the Aircheck? Don Cannon was great… I have to say ALL THE WAY TO CAPE MAY!! Would love to hear him again.
Never mind, found the Aircheck. Click on the WSNI sign…. while I have your attention… WSNI had everyone’s attention at my job back then because they got caught up in the “Mystery Sound” Contest. Things like ‘the sound of a cigarette lighter ejecting’ and other silly stuff like that. Thank you for the memory jog!!!
