Notables for this aircheck include tons of 80s era jingles, a real CHR approach and while it wasn’t labelled this way on the tape, our contributor apparently had an AM stereo receiver because this ‘check is in extremely HI-FI Stereo!

So, why, again, are we wasting our time with noisy IBOC? Listen to this and be convinced that AM Stereo really WAS better than FM Stereo! And probably lots better than HD Radio with it’s digital artifacts. You be the judge.

    Sadly, the news today is that Jack passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008.
