Overall, this apparently right out-of-the-skimmer tape is fantastic! WPGC would eventually morph into an Urban station in the 80s, but untl then, what an amazing Top 40 station this was!

This aircheck is from the morning of September 23, 1977. Jim makes a reference that “the weekend is just around the corner” which means it was very likely a Friday; and he also makes a reference that “the ’skins open up their home season Sunday against Atlanta at RFK” which could have only been the September 25, 1977 game.
