On a visit to North Central Massachusetts for Christmas ‘03, your webmaster had the opportunity to do a bit of airchecking. Topography has a lot to do with reception in this hilly, somewhat remote listening post that was my home growing up.
I parked my truck at the top of a few hills, and didn’t have much luck with the cheap boombox I had - so, setting up the old roof TV/FM antenna I used when I was a teen in the attic of mom & dad’s house, I attached a decent radio/cassette recorder and, voila!
