Old Gold Volume 7 - More Midwest Radio | 1975 (30:24) Scoped
Old Gold Volume 7 is actually side two of a tape, side one of which we posted as Volume 6. Plenty of Midwest area radio including WCAR, WAAM and CKLW.
Both Volumes 6 and 7 contain some FM stations. It’s interesting to notice how much FM is beginning to evolve from our first Old Gold post - just five more years and AM stations would be dumping music for talk and nostalgia in response to FM competition. Nothin’ doin’ here- AM radio in Volume 7 is alive and well!
