As a result of the HitOldies Labor Day WNBC Time Machind recreation, WBLQ Owner Chris Dipaola decided he wanted a version of our Time Machine format for his station.  Chris is was a major fan of the WNBC TM in the 1980s and has even been doing his own version of the format every Saturday afternoon on WBLQ.  

Starting last Wednesday, December 1st, Bob Gilmore and I launched the weeknight WBLQ Time Machine.   The format has its own twist: localized imaging, jingles from JAM and music that spans from the late 50s through the 1980s.  It’s on from 6pm-6am weeknights.  

The format is in its early stages, undoubtably there will be minor tweaks here and there in the coming weeks.
