With the passing of the original “Shock Jock,” Don Imus, I had to share this. It a video aircheck of Imus In The Morning, that ran on C-Span, back in 1994. It was a rare opportunity to not only watch Don & his crew do the show, but also gave us a glimpse of what it was like behind the show. You can see that off mike, Imus was funny, cranky, confrontational, and also managed to keep all the balls in the air as the show went on. It’s also facing aging to watch the camaraderie between Don & Charles McCord. If you have never seen this show as it was happening, you’ll find it a fascinating video. -Ellis
