Its all the way back now to 1963. This recording sounds like it came right off the logger reel straight off the main board.

The jock is Fred Mack, apparently doing his best to sound like The Real Don Steele. There were jingles on the air at WZUM, this aircheck starts with one.

As will likely be the case with more AM stations each year, this station went dark in 2011. You can read about it here in a story from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
