Huey P. Meaux, was a studio and record-label owner, as well as chart-topping producer who helped define the Gulf Coast sound through hits by the Sir Douglas Quintet, Freddy Fender and Barbara Lynn.
While producing records, Huey spent many years on the radio in Texas playing the music he loved. That music was mostly Zydego, Cajun, & Texas Soul, which was music unique to that part of the country This air check features Huey Meaux, and his unique “Crazy Cajun Radio Show.” -Ellis
