From 1971 through 2019, 95.5 WPLJ went through many different lives. From Progressive Rock, through Album Rock, New York’s Best Rock, Home of The Hits, Hit Radio 95, Power 95, Mojo Radio, to Adult Contemporary as simply 95.5PLJ.

You may have had an era you loved, you may have had an era you didn’t. In this air check, you will find all of them! It goes right from PLJ’s first moments, to it’s last. Actually, I included a few pre-WPLJ snippets going back to the early 1960s & WABC-FM. It’s interesting to hear the station evolve over the years.
