Robert W Morgan was a Los Angeles radio legend. best known for his on air work at several stations in Los Angeles, including morning drive at KMPC, KIQQ, and KMGG, and finished his career at K-Earth 101, where he retired in 1997. Many first heard him as one of the Boss Jocks on 93KHJ, where he gained superstar almost overnight, when Boss Radio shot to the top of the ratings. It was so popular, many radio stations adopted the format, and many others copied it. From the time KHJ debuted it’s Top 40 format, until the early 1970s, KHJ was the most listened to radio station in So-Cal
