KYW Reports the Passing of Radio Legend Hy Lit | November 17, 2007

Hy Lit (May 20, 1934 – November 17, 2007) was a legendary Philadelphia area radio personality whose career spanned several decades.  This aircheck was recorded from KYW Newsradio 1060 in Philadelphia the afternoon of Lit’s death from complications after knee surgery.  Hy Lit had been suffering from Parkinson’s Disease for much of his final 10 years, and it was reported that Parkinson’s was a contributing factor in his passing.
