102.3 KJLH is one of the last independent radio stations in Los Angeles. It’s owned by… Stevie Wonder. The R&B format on KJLH launched in 1965, and has been going ever since. In 1979, Stevie Wonder purchased the station for a $2 round million dollars, and all these decades later, he’s still the boss. Stevie said the calls stood for: Kindness, Joy, Love, & Happiness.

This aircheck features Ted Terry. Ted is a veteran broadcaster, whose quick wit, and smooth voice have been a staple on the radio for more than 30 years. Terry has worked in radio stations on both the east and west coast, such as: WBLS (New York), KYAC (Seattle) KVOO, KRAV (Tulsa). Ted did 2 tours of duty at KJLH, 1975-82 and 1995-96.
