WWDC DC-101 Washington DC

Doug Tract, known to his audience as “The Greasman” was a staple on Washington radio, first on WRC in the 1970s, then on DC101 in the 1980s & 90s. Grease was a master storyteller, who would tell tales & sing songs every morning. He would also create bits from phone call conversations. Grease invented a clever way of getting around indecent language by using slang terms, that he invented, for body parts and functions. His listeners figured out the meanings of the terms, so he managed to directly discuss very explicitly adult topics without alerting censors. A very unique personality. He was like no other. This recording was from his heyday in the mid-1980s.
