  1. Musicradio WLS was one of the great stations ever, like a KHJ, Los Angeles or KFRC, San Francisco. WLS had a great sound (love that reverb), and personalities. I love those contest winners’ drops. WLS (musicradio) was a great station and Tommy Edwards was one of the reasons why.

  2. Good stuff. A Sunday morning. The aircheck represnts 45 minutes of the 11am hour (11:00-11:45am) and 12 songs were played! 5 of those songs had intros :03 or shorter forcing Tommy to utilize the outros of the previous song to get his rap down.

4 stopsets, none longer than 2 minutes….with jingles between commercials. Every stopset had an ad for a soda pop.

Of the 12 songs on the aircheck 3 were oldies, 1 could be considered a recurrent by this time (Band On The Run)

Shotgun jingles between every song. Everything was so quick and concise.

    Good stuff.
