Magic Christian on WVBF… yes, this was a long time ago indeed! Listen below to this partially restored aircheck just for fun. WVBF was using a TON of reverb here. One must wonder, if we had a better recording would it make that much difference? This was most likely an old cassette recording based upon some of the tape noise I managed to get out of this aircheck. Donated by Contributor Max Power.

Fun aircheck to listen to. Jingles sounded a little dated even for 1976…sounded more like 60’s jiingles. By the way, the Sgt. Pepper movie didn’t come out until 1978. 1976 was the year that the Rock & Roll Music album was relased and Got To Get You Into My Life was climbing the charts that summer.
