Thank you for sharing your Big Ron airchecks! I listened to him back in 1971 on WCAR in Detroit, and talked to him regularly on the phone back then. He was such a witty and fun guy, and so nice, too. Several months ago I did some online research to find out what he’s up to, only to discover he passed away last April. I am so sad, and can’t get enough of his airchecks. Thank you!!

Ron O’brien was a great announcer, and I had never heard this from star 104.5, thank you sounds. I got into radio listening to Ron on 64 KFI from Amarillo tx, really a huge impact on me!
