This aircheck features Nashville rocker, 103 WKDF, and it’s legendary morning man, Carl P. Mayfield. Carl, his crew, and his antics, made him the most popular morning guy in Nashville for decades. Carl P., and his P-Team: Bubba Skynyrd, Brother Jonah, Cleon and cast of crazies ruled the airwaves not only on WKDF, but also in the afternoon on Country 98 WSIX, when he moved across town.
After a few years at WSIX, Carl returned home to 103KDF when it flipped to country to go against WSIX, and it’s popular show, Gerry House & The House Foundation. In 2003, Carl tried his hand at talk radio, but to this day, many fans in Nashville are hoping he returns to morning radio, and he brings the P Team with him. -Ellis
