Today we know Holland Cooke as a sharp programmer and Talk Radio consultant. We know about the career counseling for talk radio talent. We remember his years as Operations Manager at WTOP Washington, where he scored incredible numbers in the All News format. We have even seen him as a TV host on the show, “The Big Picture.” But there was a time when Holland was an on air jock. Also on this aircheck is Big John Bina. For over 30 years, from the 70s into the 21st century, Big John Bina brought a larger than life presentation to Providence radio. Many Southern New Englanders grew up listening to him on such stations as WSAR, WPRO AM/FM, and WWBB (B101), making each show fun.
