On December 31, 2020, Chicago’s 720 WGN did something it rarely does… IT ROCKED!
When WGN played music, many years ago, it played MOR. For New Years Eve, 2020, John Records Landecker hosted the New Years 70s Eve party. For this one night, Landecker brought back the songs of the 1970s, and made WGN sounded a bit like the old 89 WLS. Landecker even did Boogie Check! It went off so well, WGN allowed him do do it again the following year! -Ellis
