Back in 1997, Eddie Money was coming to Vermont… that’s news in and of itself! Ken Gilbert is caught here, interviewing the artist known for the hits, “Two Tickets To Paradise”, “Take Me Home Tonight”, “I Wanna Go Back” and others on Z97 (97.1 WZRT Rutland). The interview lasts about 2 1/2 minutes, then we hear the next break, where Gilbert airs the winner of two tickets to the upcoming Eddie Money concert.
Eddie Money died on September 13, 2019 of cancer. He was 70 years old.
Ken Gilbert is still in the radio business, on the air daily on 92.1 WVTK, serving Addison County, Vermont and adjacent areas in New York.
