Since the passing of Paco Navarro, we’ve had numerous requests to feature more of this great air talent! Here’s one that’s just a little bit of Paco, and a whole bunch of Rosko. Rosko Mercer was better known for his time at Album Rocker 102.7 WNEW-FM and had been heard in New York City for two decades prior to this aircheck.

1980 was probably the best year for 92 KTU.  It had just de-throned WABC the previous year and disco was still popular.  Not for long.  But here’s the 92 KTU you remember from just before the station shifted to a more Rhythmic CHR format.  And more sweet memories of Paco for your enjoyment.
