Born Irvin Kalman Goldstein, Ken Garland was 610 WIP’s longtime morning man, from the 1960s, through the 1980s. Garland’s first radio job in Philadelphia was with WIP, in 1966. Two years later, he replaced “The Morning mayor” Joe McCauley as the station’s morning man. -Ellis
