Long before he was a sports anchor on 66 WFAN, and before he cranked out the oldies on 101.1 WCBS-FM, and even before his 8 years on 97 WYNY, Mike McCann rocked Atlantic City on WMID 1340. WMID was the pop music leader in Atlantic City in the 1960s & 70s, but in 1979, the time when this aircheck was recorded, the migration to FM radio was going on, and many AM Top 40 stations were moving towards AC. WMID was still rockin’, and Mike sounds great!
