I don’t get this station! I recorded an hour of it when I was in London Summer 1998. It’s GLR, Greater London Radio, run by the BBC. It’s an Adult Contemporary, with a lot of talk. Much of the talk seems to be irrelevant, self centered & not focused on the listener. That may be why the station was blown up by BBC about a year and a half after this recording. There is a complete newscast near the beginning of the aircheck, and then you’ll here presenter (as they say in the UK) Pauline McLynn. She is a TV actresss in the UK, and also on the radio. -Ellis
