Today, Phlash Phelps is known for hosting his “60s on 6“ morning show on Sirius/XM Satellite radio. He’s hosted that show for a couple of decades. But there was a time, back in the late 1980s, when Phlash was a CHR jock on 99.9 WKHI, known locally as 100KHI.

Back in the 1980s, 100KHI was a Pop powerhouse serving the Delmarva peninsula from Ocean City, Maryland. It could be heard from just south of Wilmington, Delaware, all the way down to near Tidewater, Virginia. It’s long time morning guy, The Hitman, did AM drive for years, and Phlash did nights, cranking out the hits, with lots of energy, and tons of listener interaction. -Ellis
