This aircheck featured Detroit’s longtime R&B station, WJLB FM 98. WJLB started out as an AM station, but as FM became more dominant, they moved the popular R&B format to FM. At the time of this recording, WJLB was winning the R&B battle against FM107 WGPR. The jock on air is Rob Johnson.
