Today it’s “The Legend,” Robert W Morgan.
Robert began his career at WWST in Wooster, Ohio, in 1955, and by the time he retired in 1998, he worked at some of the most popular stations in the country. KROY, KEWB, KHJ, WIND, K100 KIQQ, KPMC, KCET, Earth 101, and the station featured on this aircheck, LA’s Magic 106 FM KMGG. in 1982, Morgan decided to take his show to FM & KMGG, where he would help the people of SoCal start their day, along with sportscaster Scott St. James. Magic 106 was also where Robert discovered and hired his long-time sidekick Joni Caryl. for 3 years, Robert held down the fort at Magic, until he decided to go back to go back to his old radio home, KMPC, and play Adult Standards & Big Band music, which he enjoyed. -Ellis
