Roger Ashby visited a radio station when he was 10, and was so impressed & amazed, that he decided to become a radio personality, and has never looked back. That visit paid off for him personally, and for CHUM AM & FM in Toronto, where Roger worked for 50 years! For 17 years, from 1968 to 1985, Roger cranked out the hits on 1050 CHUM, a legendary Top 40 powerhouse during the late 50s, 60s, 70s and early 80s. In 1986 he then moved across the hall to 104.5 CHUM-FM, to take the reigns as morning man on the wildly popular CHUM-FM Morning Show with Roger Rick & Marilyn. Roger led that show until his retirement in 2018. This aircheck goes back to 1999, when Roger was in his stride waking Toronto.
