I think the air date was February of 1989. Was satellite format from (then) Transtar.

The News person is Amy Stewart. While the station here was branded “Kiss 93.5 FM” which is usually a CHR monniker, the station was really a HotAC station. Definitely worth a quick listen. This station has been gone so long that today’s WCFR is an AM/FM simulcast (it was once before in the 1970s and early 1980s but on different frequencies), 1480 and 106.5. The AM is the ORIGINAL WCFR (AM) but 106.5 is a different station than the original FM side.

Amy had an absolutely orgasmic voice. I hope she moved on to bigger and better things. WCFR-AM 1480 is where the great Dick McDonough worked before moving on to WKBR Manchester NH and then WDRC in Hartford.
