Here’s West Texas personality Tim Kelly on “Country’s Best Country” KEAN 105. A great sounding live station in the ’90s, KEAN added a simulcast for a few years on 1470 AM. That station is today’s KYYW.

Given the flat terrain in this area, KEAN’s signal is heard pretty much from west of Ft. Worth out halfway to El Paso. I know, having driven big rigs out that way many years ago, one of the best signals in West Texas. Its no wonder, then, that KEAN has remained country for many years.
