Back in the early 1970s, Philly’s WCAU-FM was one of the very first all oldies radio station. It launched in 1971 with enough early success, it’s sister station. WCBS-FM New York, decided to also flip to all oldies, with WCAU-FM as it’s model.

This aircheck features a segment of Music Line. Music Line was a latenight talk show, on Golden 98 WCAU-FM where Philadelphians talked music, records, & radio, with host Kevin Fennessy. The show was very local to Philly, and I often went to sleep with this show on my little transistor radio. -Ellis
