  1. I know this was taken from an AM station, but the clarity sounds for all the world like FM. A couple other things. At 2:30, BB said “Satisfaction” was from ’64. It’s actually from ’65, hitting number 1 sometime that summer. Lastly, a few years prior, 970 was WJRZ and, though not technically in NYC, it was the country music outlet for The Big Apple. In fact, Lee Arnold, who would go on to fame at NYC’s WHN was there when it was country.
