Legendary voice Bill Rock donated a short compilation of some of his best work a few ago. For those who don’t remember, Bill Rock was the voice of WNBC‘s Top of the Hour ID during the late 70s as well as being on the air there. He worked elsewhere in New York City, too! 103.5 WYNY during both it’s Adult Contemporary format and its Country format. Bill Rock was also on CBS-FM 101.1 in the years leading up to the failed “Jack-FM” format, when CBS-FM still played REAL Oldies from the 50s-80s.

Also included on this short compilation are samples of some of Bill Rock‘s syndicated work. What an awesome talent!

We thank Bill Rock for his contribution to our archives!
