Fred Winston began his career on Chicago radio as an afternoon DJ spinning the hits on AM 89 WLS in 1971. After almost six years there, he started his trek all across the Chicago radio dial, with stops at WMAQ, WFYR, WCFL, back to WLS, WJMK, WLUP-FM, WPNT-FM, WXXY, and WJMK/WJMK-HD2. Fred has also voiced a ton of national TV commercials. You can also hear his voice at the beginning of the motion picture, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
