KLSX 97.1 Los Angeles – Howard Stern Show, Mark & Brian Mock Funeral – November 24 1992

For years, Howard Stern said that if the people of Los Angeles made him #1 on KLSX in morning drive, he would host his morning show from L.A., and have a funeral for the former #1, Mark & Brian. It took a few years, but Howard did beat beat the duo, and in November of 1992, he came to the west coast to host his Mark & Brian Funeral.

A crowd of around 25,000 fans turned out to celebrated Stern’s ratings triumph over KLOS rivals Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps. This KLSX aircheck features part of that 1992 broadcast. -Ellis
