Courtesy of and directly from the Contributor Ellis B. Feaster YouTube Aircheck Channel, here’s an ‘oldie but goodie’ from the days when 96 TIC-FM was a CHR station. Or, perhaps more precisely, It was a subdued Top 40 station morphing into an Adult Contemporary outlet.

WTIC-FM was actually a great sounding station at this point, but it was getting very stiff competition from 102.9 WDRC “FM 103”, which in 1982-84 was a personality-oriented Top 40 station as well.

This is a super-clean sounding recording. Our Contributor did a great job of digitizing this from the source tape. You get the added assurance that being YouTube, you’ll actually be able to stream this from just about anywhere, even your phone or tablet!
