Here’s a grainy recording of Joe O’Brien, made just before Christmas, 1965. The quality isn’t the best, but like so many recordings made from this era, it probably wasn’t on the best quality tape, nor did the person making the recording have the audio levels right. It’s a bit distorted, but not so bad that someone who remembers WMCA in 1965 won’t enjoy it.
