Courtesy of longtime Contributor Robyn Watts, this un-dated scope of night jock Robin King, and an assortment of GREAT phone call requests. In fact, aside from this wonderfully fun personality, the best part of this aircheck has to be the way King handles the phones. There’s one bit where a woman requests Guns N Roses, and King makes the caller… well, you have to listen.
A very FUN aircheck this is, one which I’d place sometime in the Fall of ’89 based upon someone requesting the ‘new’ song by New Kids on the Block – “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind”, which was on the “Hangin’ Tough” album released earlier in ’89.
