Wild Bill Scott, KFRC AM/FM San Francisco | June 24, 1994
Wild Bill Scott was a radio pioneer who was credited with creating the "Z-Rock" Rock Radio Network. He was best known as a radio personality who worked at mainly hard rock stations across the U.S. including Chicago's WLUP and WMET, along with the legendary KROQ "K-Rock" in Los Angeles. He's heard here on the relatively short-lived KFRC AM-FM Oldies simulcast.

“Skinny” Tom Chauney, WTIX “The Mighty 690” New Orleans | October 16, 1972
The music is true Top 40, and it's all over the place from obscure (by today's standards) slow tunes to hard rock. But, this is how Top 40 sounded at what, arguably, was the peak of AM Top 40 radio.

Dan Taylor on the Time Machine, 66 WNBC New York | 1988
There's probably never been a jock more suited to be on WABC around 1968-72 than Dan Taylor. Except that DT was a pre-teen in those years and even if he wasn't too young, he would have been mistaken as Dan Ingram's clone...

660 WNBC, Big Jay Sorensen, Bob Gilmore, New York, The WNBC Time Machine
Big Jay Sorensen & The WNBC Time Machine | October 6, 1988
This includes just about every element that listeners loved about the Time Machine. The great music of the 60s, a GREAT jock (actually, THE jock who invented the Time Machine format), lots of interaction with listeners - phone bits are everywhere, and Big Jay's "Record Pig" segment. You just have to listen to understand it.
