103.3 Nashville WKDF Nash Icon

Description from Karl Phillips

WKDF-FM 103.3 (Formerly WKDA-FM – see Bill Berlin) Nashville flips from Rock to Country as “Music City 103” and returns Carl P. Mayfield and the “P-Team” to the air after being fired from cross-town WSIX-FM a year earlier. Carl P. calls it his “release from radio prison”. Those guys were having fun.

  1. How do you access the website for the morning afternoon and evening shows I would like to make a request for a dedication to be done on a certain day and time. Thank you

  2. I remember this change. Everyone in West Tennessee were angered since we didn’t have a real Rock station there. Only AC and Country existed. KDF gave us something to listen to with power! When they changed it went Alternative first playing No Doubt and other Alternative they never did before. Then the next it was all Country. Many turned from it. Yet they attracted a new audience. The rockers are still hating them for it.
