This aircheck is from WABC’s final few months as a music station. By this point, WABC had evolved into an Adult Contemporary station, that played quite a bit of gold, going back to the mid 1960s. Peter Bush is featured here. He was one of the jocks brought in for WABC’s final years, along with Howard Hoffman, Mike McKay, Sturgis Griffin, & Marc Sommers. Peter did weekends on WABC. Once WABC flipped to talk radio, Peter went back to WKCI, KC-101 in New Haven. In the mid 1980s, he did evenings at 95.5 WPLJ in New York, and then returned to Connecticut once again, and hosted mornings at WEBE 108, WKHL, and WEFX. Peter retired from radio in 2017.
