Comments:

Here’s a very short scope of legendary west coast Top 40 radio personality Shotgun Tom Kelly (Tom Irwin). You can feel the momentum that builds every time the mic opens. B-100 COOKS!

If I remember correctly, the flip of Beautiful Music KFMB-FM to the B-100 manic radio format was the beginning of the end of the Beautiful Music format in Southern California. There were tons of BM stations back in the 1970s (KJOI, KPOL, KBIG, KOST, KFMB-FM, XeTRA to name a few); now (December 2016) there are none. Interestingly, the Beautiful Music station on SiriusXM was discontinued earlier this year (2016)… but due to the complaints of many loyal listeners, the station was brought back a few months later, and as of December 2016 remains on the SiriusXM satellite, Internet, and app platforms.
