I remember Alan well. I used to call into Z95 pretending to be “Sam from Lebenon” ad he would put me on air. Had so much fun.
This was the best station ever! I lived in Chicagoland in ’86-’87, and Z-95 was the WLS of the 80s.

There hasn’t been a decent top40 station in Chicago since Z95. Nic St. John, Mark Sebastian, and Kabel were all top-notch! Such a fun station that you wanted to be a part of… a non stop party.
