I met Earle Augustus while at then-Barnstable owned WJZN and WGKX, part of the Memphis Radio Group. Earle was on both WJZN and WRBO at the time and I was lucky that our paths crossed.
Sometime in 2004, he finally gave me a cassette of himself upon my insistence. This is a quick demo scope of Earle Augustus on the former WKSL, 107.5 Kiss-FM, now WHBQ-FM Q-107.5.
Strangely enough, while 107.5 Kiss-FM had a strong web presence, there doesn’t appear to be a logo anywhere.
